Prairie Days at Pacific Rim Institute

Early Birding Tour – No sign up required.
7:30 AM – 9:00 AM


Join in a small group to discover the birds of the prairie. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Prairie Tours:
10 AM – 11:30 AM, 4 PM – 5 PM, and Saturday only 1 PM – 2: 30 PM
Walk the prairie with PRI staff to see and learn about rare native plants, geology, pollinators, Native American history, and our ongoing restoration and research.

 

Greenhouse/Nursery Tours:
11:45 AM – 12:45 PM


The Native Plant Center at PRI is undergoing a significant transition. Tour the site including the greenhouse, shade house, nursery beds, and seed lab to learn about the many different species and why they are critical to protect and enhance.
