Help Island Shakespeare Festival Raise Henry the Tent on May 20!

by Island Shakespeare 15th May 2023

To our dearest community - Island Shakespeare Festival would love to invite you to mark your calendars. Henry, our beloved tent, will be going up starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 20th at our stage on the backlot of 5476 Maxwelton Rd in Langley. It requires a large amount of folks, so tell all your friends! It truly is the kickoff of our season, and we need all hands on deck. The more the merrier!

I want to encourage you to join us even if you don't want to help with the tent - we want to welcome anyone and everyone!

We will also aim to install astroturf, risers, masking walls, and some other season prep things, so there are plenty of jobs for all sorts of skills, abilities, and interests. We may even begin to paint if it's nice!

What to bring: work gloves, weather appropriate clothing, water, any drills and drivers or other handy tools you can, and a great attitude!

You can sign up by emailing me, or using SignUp via the link below.

It will help us get a headcount for our famous "make your own sandwiches" :)

Hope to see you there!
