Clinton Library Event: “Cocoon” and Memoir Writing with Sarri Gilman

Join local author and community advocate Sarri Gilman, in her newest book Cocoon and her favorite writing exercises for your memoir.

Sarri’s memoir, Cocoon, shares the interactions and journey she experienced while creating a non-profit in Everett, WA to support children and teens facing homelessness. This program will be part reading and discussion about her memoir. The second part will offer writing tips to use for your own memoir as well as the opportunity to sample some of her favorite writing exercises, so that you leave with writing strategies to dive deeper into on your own.
