South Whidbey Schools Foundation Gala Dinner

Help enhance educational opportunities in our community's public schools by attending this year's South Whidbey Schools Foundation Gala on Saturday, April 26 at Useless Bay Golf & Country Club.

The theme for this year’s Foundation Gala is ‘Prom Night,” so here’s your chance to relive a highlight of high school days. Formal wear is optional. Fun is inevitable.

Social hour begins at 5 p.m. Mingle with friends, sip wine or spiked punch, dance, view SWSF-funded projects and peruse amazing auction items. Dine with friends while enjoying music from the South Whidbey High School Show Choir.

Featured speaker Valerie Heggenes, a longtime district teacher, will share how classroom grants have benefitted her students.

After dinner and a dessert dash, SWHS teacher Justin Silva will emcee a spirited auction and a ‘raise the paddle’ for funding classroom grants in specific academic areas.
