West Beach

West Beach is located at the end of Cranberry Lake in Deception Pass State Park.  It is a beautiful sandy beach to bring your family for a cook out or just to relax on a sunny day on Whidbey.  You will need a state park discover pass in order to park at the beach and you can buy those passes as you come into the park at Deception Pass State Park. There is a roped off area for swimmers and small children across from the beach.  During the winter months the park may close the beach due to wind storms and danger from the incoming tides so make sure to check with the state park.
