About this Event

2025 is an exciting year for the adventure races of Northwest Maritime! With Race to Alaska hitting the snooze button for 2025, the stage is set for the return of Washington's Toughest Water Race - The WA360! Join Jesse for a presentation and discussion about what makes R2AK, WA360 and the adventure-paddling race SEVENTY48 special, and get a peek at this year's teams!

Jesse Wiegel is the Race Boss at Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend, in charge of all things adventure race, including Race to Alaska, SEVENTY48, and WA360. Jesse has a long background in maritime education and adventure, having sailed many years aboard traditional tall ships and as a Lead Sailing Instructor at Hurricane Island Outward Bound.
