Whidbey Island Dance Theatre (WIDT) is a 30-year-old gem of a non-profit that was founded on the idea of creating a new and exciting opportunity for young people in its community; young creatives of all ages, who also loved dance, could learn the discipline to train in a variety of dance forms and find their place on stage with their peers.

The company holds two major performances per year: "The Nutcracker" and "Celebration of Dance" (coming up on April 28 + 29 at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.)

WIDT is in need of a new Costume Coordinator, who works closely with the Artistic Directors on their vision for each performance. Must have flexible hours on weekends and availability for all rehearsal and show dates. Additional duties include: measuring; sewing; costume fittings; ordering costumes and getting them organized and ready for the next show; organizing costume volunteers; and creating the timeline of when everything happens with the Artistic Directors input.

This job provides a stipend for the fall/winter season and the spring/summer season.

If interested, please reach out via email at whidbeyidt@gmail.com with COSTUME COORDINATOR in the subject line.

We look forward to working with you and your creative spirit!
