Oak Harbor Music Fest & Windermere Whidbey Island Announce Free 2024 Sounds of Summer Lineup

by Bill Walker 7th May 2024

The Oak Harbor Music Festival, in partnership with Windermere Whidbey Island, announced the lineup for the 2024 Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Oak Harbor’s Windjammer Park.

“What a success these shows have been the last two summers,” said Cynthia Mason, President of the music festival board. “Seeing so many people enjoying the sunshine, picnics with friends and family, and top-shelf live entertainment… it just shows what a beautiful community we have. And we could not pull this off without tremendous support all along from Windermere Whidbey Island.”

“At Windermere, we know that people are looking for more than just a home, they are looking for a vibrant community,” said Windermere Whidbey Island’s Kristen Stavros.

The Windjammer Park shows are set for four consecutive Wednesdays, beginning July 31. Shows are free, and the music is family friendly. Bring a lawn chair for a little extra comfort, and dancing is always encouraged. All shows start at 6PM. The lineup is:

July 31 – Stephanie Anne Johnson
August 7 – West Coast Feed
August 14 – Eden
August 21 – Santa Poco

Oak Harbor Music Festival’s mission is to inspire our community with the power of music. Since its founding in 2012, the festival has brought thousands of music lovers to Pioneer Way every Labor Day weekend for three days of free music. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the festival has provided over $100,000 to date in scholarships and musical instruments to young Whidbey Island musicians.
