Mason Strevel has followed in the path created by his father as a custom home builder on Whidbey Island. His wife, Jodi Strevel, is the owner of her business, Rustic & Royal, an artistic home designer. Mason and Jodi met through a mutual friend over 23 years ago, married in 2010, and have been life-long residents on Whidbey.
Mason Strevel carried on the construction business that was begun by his father. He has been in the construction business for over 25 years. The company currently has seven employees, does both commercial and residential construction, and has established a reputation for its quality work. Mason promotes the concept that the company caters to the client’s vision. He believes it is important to create positive relationships on the island, and notes, "We always do hands on quality work.”
Mason Strevel Construction is currently working on offering Rustic & Royal Island bungalows that are being built on Freeland Avenue in Downtown Freeland. Each bungalow is 1,200 square feet and is a two bedroom, two-bath home. They are expected to be ready for occupancy within a year.
Complementing the quality construction work done by Mason Strevel Construction, Jodi Strevel, with her Rustic and Royal business, provides the layout, design and artistic elements necessary to complete the entire project.
