HVAC FIELD TECHNICIAN - Experienced or Trainee
We are looking for experienced or entry level candidates for our ductless heat pump systems Installation Technician opening. You must be a responsible, self-starting individual who is highly motivated to participate in and be trained in HVAC/ductless heat pump systems installation. The right candidate will have excellent customer service and problem solving skills and should enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.The Primary Job Function:
To work with and learn on the job, from our experienced HVAC Installation team, the job of installing ductless heat pump heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Participate in training towards being able to work independently or with other installers, maintaining high quality and timely job performance.Must Haves (include but not limited to):
~ Be physically fit, able to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders and work outside all year round.
~ Valid driver's license
~ Willingness to invest time in training, seminars and classes
~ Basic safety knowledge of tools and surrounding, safe use of ladders, ability to comply with all safety rules
~ Experienced in basic home construction and use of construction tools
~ Aptitude for quickly learning skills like layout, design and installation
~ Ability to work well with customers, co-workers, subcontractors and builders
~ Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
~ Excellent customer relations skills and an open mind to think outside of the box
~ Can demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills
~ Comfortable using computers and smart devices/apps in the fieldStarting rate is dependent on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $24 per hour. Under journey level supervision, the position will assist in maintaining historic structures by performing carpentry, repairs, glass and concrete replacement.
